Privacy Policy for Pepper Publisher

1. Information We Collect

Our application, Pepper Publisher, accesses data through the Facebook Graph API and Instagram Graph API. Specifically, we access:

Account Information: Page ID, Instagram Business Account ID, and name.
Content Data: Images and text captions provided by the user for the purpose of scheduling and publishing posts.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information collected is used exclusively to:

Facilitate the scheduling and publishing of content to your connected Facebook and Instagram Business accounts.
Manage API connections through n8n/Next.js workflows. We do not share your data with third parties.

3. Data Storage and Security

Access tokens are stored securely in environment variables or encrypted databases.
We do not store your Facebook/Instagram password.
Media files (images/videos) are processed only to be uploaded to the APIs.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Users can revoke access at any time through their Facebook Business Integrations settings. If you wish to request the deletion of any data cached in our private logs, please contact us at leonardo@spotlightus.org.

5. Compliance with Meta API Policies

This application complies with Meta Platform and Developer Policies. We only request the minimum permissions necessary (instagram_content_publish, pages_manage_posts) to perform actions initiated by the user.
